With its versatile tilting louvres, this pergola allows you to easily switch between a closed, sheltered space and an open top that invites sunlight to flood in. When the louvres are closed, the roof becomes fully watertight and waterproof, enabling you to enjoy your outdoor area even during poor weather. Whether you prefer sitting in sunshine or shade, this pergola offers the flexibility to adapt to your preferences. It provides a reliable waterproof roof that can withstand sudden rain showers.
To ensure efficient water drainage, the pergola features a clever built in system. Rainwater that lands on the louvres is channeled into U-shaped channels. From there, the water flows through the roof and into the pergola's framework. Within the horizontal framework, the rainwater further travels inside the hollow pergola legs and vertically down to the ground. This ingenious system prevents visible water draining off the pergola and eliminates rainwater dripping under the sheltered area when the louvres are opened while wet.
Assembly of this pergola is required, and we recommend the involvement of 2-3 individuals for safe lifting and assembly. The estimated build time is approximately 2 hours. To securely anchor the pergola to the ground, expansion bolts are provided. We advise mounting the pergola on a flat, solid surface such as concrete bases. It is strongly recommended to bolt all pergola legs securely to the floor using the holes in each leg base plate.
